Congrats to our lab’s PhD student, Caitlin for receiving the SFU CERi Community Engaged Research Funding Program grant this past fall semester.
Dr. Cairncross and colleagues most recent publication on the impact of screen time on concussion recovery was featured on SFU’s Top 22 Scholarly Impacts of 2022.
Former trainee of Dr. Cairncross, Kiarah O’Kane (incoming clinical psychology student at UBC in Fall 2022) won second place for her presentation at the GF Strong Rehabilitation Research Day on May 25, 2022. She presented her honours thesis on impoving engagement with digital health interventions through social presence. Great work, Kia!
The CORTECH lab welcomes two new SFU undergraduate trainees, Jaymie Cristobal and Juanita Chee. We are so excited you are joining the lab!
Huge congratulations to incoming trainee, Medha Amarnath Nair, who received a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) scholarship to support her master’s thesis work assessing attention bias in concussion!
Dr. Cairncross and PhD trainee Caitlin received the Psychology Department Research Grant at SFU to support Caitlin’s dissertation work!
The CORTECH Lab will welcome Medha Amarnath Nair and Miranda Chang in the Fall 2022 semester. Medha and Miranda will both be starting their Master’s training in Clinical Neuropsychology at SFU.
Starting this November, Dr. Cairncross will be joining the Psychology Department at SFU as an assistant professor. She will be teaching PSYC 356: Developmental Psychopathology in the Spring 2022 term!
